We are a husband-and-wife team married for 20 years and raising three boys together. Like many families, our journey into breastmilk sharing began at home, in the middle of real-life parenting.
After the birth of our second son, we found ourselves with an abundance of breastmilk because he simply would not take a bottle — yes, yikes! We did not want all of the hard work, time, and our full freezer chest to go to waste. This led us to explore donation options through hospital programs, where we learned about proper sanitization, freezing, and storage practices. We experienced firsthand the care and responsibility involved in preparing milk for other families.
Later, when we discovered online marketplaces where moms connected directly with one another, we saw something powerful. We saw mothers helping mothers and families navigating feeding challenges through support and connection.
After spending so much time finding the perfect “match,” communicating, and building trust, many families are fortunate enough to finally connect and bond with their donor family. At that point, everyone is dedicated to ensuring that their “liquid gold” arrives safely and in perfect condition. What shocked us most were the outrageously expensive overnight shipping costs that often had to be passed along to the receiving family.
We also found the shipping and logistics process overwhelming. Many moms are simply doing their best while juggling work, children, and everyday life. Adding the complicated and expensive process of shipping frozen breastmilk can create even more stress during an already emotional journey. Unexpected shipping costs or confusion about packaging should not stand in the way of helping another family.
We believed there had to be a way to make the process easier, supportive, and more cost-effective.
This platform was created as a community space. We are not a milk bank, and we do not perform medical screenings. Instead, we provide a place where families can connect, communicate openly, and support one another in a respectful and responsible way.
What makes our platform different is our commitment to supporting the process — not just hosting listings. By leveraging the strength of our community, we help donor and recipient families access reduced shipping rates and simplified logistics. Our goal is to remove unnecessary stress so families can focus on what matters most.
At its heart, this site is about connection. It is about moms with extra milk choosing to help other families. It is about parents searching for support and finding understanding. It is about creating a space where communication, transparency, and care come first.
We understand that feeding decisions are deeply personal. Our role is simply to provide a place where families can come together, reduce shipping costs, and support one another through this season of life.
